Join us on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Saint Thomas' Episcopal for an evening in celebration of Robert Burns, National Poet of Scotland. In partnership with the Houston Highland Games, this event will follow the traditional Burns Supper programme with the Piping of the Haggis, Toasts to Laddies and Lassies, lots of Scottish entertainment including the Saint Thomas' Episcopal Champion Pipe Band and Award-winning Highland Dancers, and, of course, the Immortal Toast to Robbie Burns. As we commemorate the life and works of Robert Burns who was a champion of education and a true poet, we will also celebrate the champions of STE Scottish Arts with a visual immersion of the program through the years in Shaw Hall. The official Burns Supper program will be hosted in the Gym. The STE Burns Supper is a black tie elevated affair with dinner, Scotch tasting, live entertainment and raffle prizes.
A portion of the event proceeds go towards the Houston Highland Games and STE's Scottish Arts program.
